As a growing facility, this Ramapo-based subacute community was suffering structurally from ad-hoc expansions that made for an overwhelming, ad-hoc interior layout. It was unfortunate: Despite six lush acres of land and a team of well-trained caregivers, the facility was turned down by most prospective acquirers, who could not make sense of the building.
But when CareRite acquired the property, they saw its potential — and brought in the Icon team to restructure the building’s key features. We planned carefully, undoing the mess of hodgepodge extensions with thoughtful remodeling.
