Our design team prepares an exhaustive design guide with renders, swatches, measurements and more. The design guide is then shared with the development team.

Although the design team has successfully completed its part of the project, their work is not done. Communication between design and development is essential for precise execution.

Healthcare is always on, and meticulous construction phasing is essential to round-the-clock patient care. Icon draws on our well-established phasing experience to stick to schedule and eliminate downtime. And we utilize the same phasing methods in other high-stakes environments, like occupied hospitality and commercial buildings.
Once phasing is in place, the project manager kicks off the job. Materials are ordered, and a 4-6 week window is given before construction can begin.
Icon employs over 100 construction workers across 5 crews to successfully follow construction plans and implement client projects within the deadline.

With a secure design handoff and incessant in-house communication, our construction team executes the design vision flawlessly.
Looping the process.
When multiple phases have been planned, the project manager and the client evaluate and sign off on construction before authorizing the project to move on to subsequent phases. Completed units are reoccupied. This continues until all phases are complete.
Those final touches.
Our design team returns once more to stage the space and photograph the launch and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
